Infuritatingly annoyed

Hey guys

Melby congrats!!!! That’s awesome about your house! Hope it all goes well.

Well I’m entering the first portion of the semester where the beginning of tests roll around. I’ve dealt with one already today and I have another tomorrow. Luckily my new coworker at the vet school is in two of my classes and she’s agreed to become my study buddy so I can finally kiss this blasted Ochem 1 goodbye! In addition to this I am also getting rabies shots because my dear bosses at the vet school would prefer it if I didn’t become infected with said virus and I would also prefer it because then I would be required to get shots in the stomach to recover rather than the arm which is the preventative vaccine. Oi.

House Update

Posted under Random Update on Life by Nii on Sunday 29 January 2012 at 5:17 pm

Yesterday, Chase and I found a house.  We really liked it, so put an offer on it.  Five hours of nervous waiting later, and they accepted!  So far it is a verbal agreement, but they are supposed to sign the written either today or tomorrow.  If all goes well with the inspections and what-not, we are hoping to close on February 29th.  The neighborhood is at 101st and Mingo, it’s called Cedar Ridge Park.  I think our house is the smallest one in this neighborhood.

I am so freaking excited and nervous at the same time.  I don’t want to get excited and my hopes all up because the inspections could still come back bad on it or the seller back out or something.  But still, I am excited because this is my first house and it’s so cute and moving itself is something exciting and I can really make this place my own.  Does any of this make sense?  Gah!

Well,

1st off- HAPPY NOTE- HAPPY BIRTHDAY MELBY! I feel so blessed to have your friendship in my life. I value your opinions, your advice, your kindness and sincerity more than I ever let on. I wish you many, many happy returns my dear.

2nd 0ff- House hunting went well, three of the first eight that we really liked (well 2 I really liked, Ty had a third he was sweet on), and we will continue the search in the weeks to come.

3rd- Tyler’s Great Grandmother passed away this afternoon. She was the last of our Greats. My Great Grammy Aiken passed away this time last year, and she was the only one that he has had left since we started dating 5 years ago. So I am even more out of it then I was yesterday. Just giving a heads up if I go off the grid for a bit.

It was good to see you all. I am sorry that I had to go so soon. I have come to accept that we are growing up and have lives that take away from our times together. It is a hard, cold truth, but I am coming to accept it.

I think sometime in March (hopefully Spring Break) we should try to get together, make sure that dresses fit people, maybe go shoe shopping, if necessary, or slip shopping, if necessary. I have been looking forward, for a year and a half to sharing some of these moments with you guys, and I don’t want to be robbed of them- so let’s make it happen.

I love life

My brother is home, I got to see my puppy, enjoyed a glass of white wine, got to see Whit, and I’m hanging out with you girlies and my boyo tomorrow. Life is good.

OK first off to Whit, give yourself a huge hug and get some sleep. Lots of sleep, and pace yourself. Don’t let your job wear you out.

Melanieeeee- Happy Birthday! Bon Anniversaire! Feliz Cumplianos! How do you say it in German? Whit? Oh well you know what I mean. Ready for tomorrow.

On the other hand, my car is now out of commission. So I am now without a vehicle to Stillwater. Miles will have to drive me up and I may be taking BOB back here at some point during the middle of the week. Fun fun fun.

See y’all!

So cool thing I found

For anyone with an android, maybe an iPhone… Its the Google Music App- you can upload up to 20,000 songs to Google music and it will store them so that you can pull them up on your phone without having to use up phone space.

ALSO it holds all your music online, so that if your computer or ipod or phone die, your music is still SOMEWHERE! It’s online, including your playlists.

Thought I would share.

Official week 1 went really well. Only pet peeve is that these professionals keep using the word “retarded” to describe their actions and things they don’t like… it’s one of the most unattractive things in the world! GGGRRRRRR makes me mad.

Alrighty, POST PEOPLES!

Awesome-ness

StarWars, Firefly, Batman, and Pokemon

Posted under C'est La Vie,Unconscious musings by Wiki on Monday 26 December 2011 at 7:32 pm

I had a great night with you lovelies!

and I loved all of my gifts VERY much! Thanks! Larry and Tyler are excited to watch my new movie from the Bean soon, while I cuddle up in my new T-shirt after baking some PIE! =)

I shouldn’t have eaten so much beef jerky, my tummy hurts from all the salt and not enough drink to balance it out. I always forget that I get dehydrated too easily, but it was sooooo good! I had so much fun eating out and ice skating with the Lindsey’s! (or do they spell it with an a?) I don’t know that I had discovered just how stinking funny Bonnie is!

Merry Christmas my doves! Melby, you should post the pictures as soon as you get a chance! I have been waiting to upload my Christmas album to Shutterfly so that I can add the album to the archives on my computer, but I can’t until it is complete with StarWars, Firefly, Batman and Pokemon! wow… those describe us all sooooo well…

Cool!

So I think that ice skating rocks! They must have dropped the price since last year, or maybe I am just crazy!

So could we just meet downtown at like 12.30 and skate until we are freezing or bored, and then go to Melby’s and commence with “A Plan”?

Pa rum ba bum bum

I can’t tell you yet when I’ll be working next week so I can’t say what time would be good to meet. Just say a time and if I have to work then I’ll see if I can switch with someone.

I GOT MY CHRISTMAS SHOPPING DONE TODAY!!! I just have to wait on one more thing to come in the mail and then once that thing is wrapped I’m good to go.

Ice skating sounds fun and since it’s so cheap it sounds like it’s doable.

Ice Skating!

Chase is totally cool with us using the apartment, so long as he knows what time it will be so he can disappear.

Also!  My awesome cousin, Matt, told me about skating at the BOK center.  It is $8 per person (skate rental included) and Mondays in December are half priced if you bring a canned food item for donation.  I checked it out at the BOK website, and it’s legit :D   What do you guys think?

Edit~
The Ice Rink is open 12pm to 10pm that day.
